An aroma that reminds the connoisseur of sparkling wine, paired with a dry finish: Our Maisel & Friends Royal puts the crown on craft brewing with sparkling hints of bubbly. The Brut Pale Ale makes the beer enjoyment a royal drinking experience.For the first time, we ventured into this style of beer - and were convinced from the first sip. Tanginess and subtle bitterness offer not only beer lovers a welcome change, but also fans of sparkling wine & co will find the perfect refreshment for the summer.
The idea to brew a beer of this style came from our final year apprentices. For the fourth time, they were allowed to brew their own beer as part of "Project Maisel" and thus create their journeyman's piece. In the process, Maisel & Friends apprentices from the various trades work hand in hand and everyone can contribute their ideas and perceptions during the project, whether it's designing the label or developing the recipe. They are always actively supported by their colleagues in the respective specialist department.

Brut Pale Ale with a tangy kick of freshness
Our Maisel & Friends Royal glows straw yellow and shows a slight cloudiness in the glass, topped by a fine pored head. The noble sight enchants the eye of any beer lover and the nose is immediately spoiled by aromas reminiscent of elderberry, white grapes, lemongrass and pear. With this bouquet, the beer smells wonderfully fresh and so perfectly fits the warm season. The very first sip reinforces this impression, bringing out hints of grape, pear, lemongrass and citrus. The dry finish and a discreet extra portion of carbonic acid bridge the gap to the world of sparkling wines. The bitterness is subtle and seems very harmonious.
