Our hometown Bayreuth is at the center of good taste. Our Bavarian administrative district is labeled "Gourmet Region Upper-Franconia", for this is the region with the worldwide highest density of breweries, bakeries and butchers. In Bayreuth, "Gourmet site of beer culture", even famous composer Richard Wagner and poet Jean Paul once discovered their love for beer.
