Barrel-aged Beer Specialty with exceptional Aromas
The former home of the “Bavarian Peat” whisky from the Slyrs distillery in Schliersee also provided a home for our strong bock beer for several months. In the strong beer, this gave rise to impressive peaty notes that transport the drinker to the vastness of the Scottish Highlands.

Maisel & Friends Scotch Bock Barrel Aged 2024
The bock beer shines amber-colored, almost foxy in the glass. The slight cloudiness and fine-pored foam immediately catch the eye. Peaty notes reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands fill the nose. A rollercoaster ride of aromas of peat, ripe apple, plum, peach and slightly tart cherry, underlined by fine honey notes. The adventurous aromatic journey continues in the mouth, with the peat notes in the foreground and perfectly accompanied by fruity hints. The perceptible sweetness has a wonderful counterpart in a light, fine acidity. An incredible, barrel-aged bock beer that reveals ever new aromas as the temperature rises.
