Bock Beer and Wheat Bock matured in Marsala and Bourbon Barrels 

Unique Combination of Barrel Aged Bock Beers 

Our Bock Beer and Wheat Bock matured for several months in barrels previously filled with Bourbon and the Sicilian dessert wine Marsala. Through the art of blending, the two beers were combined to create a blend that takes sour beer lovers by storm.

Maisel & Friends Sour Blend Barrel Aged 2024

The strong beer is amber in color with a slight cloudiness. Even the smell immediately brings out the sour beer character. Sour cherry, lemon zest, redcurrant and Boskop apple are the dominant aromas. The entire blend is underlined by notes of plum, caramel and almonds. The acidity is also at the forefront of the taste and is harmoniously accompanied by sweet notes. The mouthfeel of the strong beer is quite lean, the alcohol well integrated. The wonderfully dry finish makes you look forward to the next sip.
