Her adventure is full of dangers and challenges, but she is undaunted and driven by the desire to create a masterpiece: An immortal Single Hop IPA that lets the chosen hops shine.
There can only be one – The KRUSH™
After eventful months full of adventures and trials, far away from home, the Hoplander returns. She finally has the perfect hops in her hands, the US variety Krush™. This gives our beer an intense, sweet and fruity flavour. Dominant notes of freshly cut orange and juicy mango are rounded off by nuances of peach and resin, once again making our Hoplander an immortal IPA.

What makes Maisel & Friends Hoplander special
Hoplander is a Single Hop IPA that puts a different hops in the spotlight every year. Only a single type of hops is used in all areas of the brewing process and can therefore fully develop its flavour – unadulterated, clear, without distraction from overly strong malt notes. While the recipe always remains the same, the different hop varieties allow new flavours to be created every year.
The Hoplander is a joint project with our friends, the hop specialists from BarthHaas.
The face and heart of this unique brewing creation is the Hoplander, adventurous and full of passion, proud sister of our ´Hopfenreiter´(Hop Rider).
