The beer of the beer sommeliers
This year, the annual general meeting of the Association of Beer Sommeliers will take place on our Maisel & Friends brewery premises. From 17 to 20 October 2024, Bayreuth will be the center of beer enjoyment when 200 beer sommeliers from all over Europe meet. Participants can expect an exciting supporting program with specialist presentations, adventure tours on our premises and much more. Traditionally, a beer is brewed for the occasion, and this time is no exception. At the beginning of September, some representatives of the association visited us to brew a dry-hopped wheat bock called Mariana White together with our master brewers.

Maisel & Friends Mariana White
Mariana White is a modern wheat bock that glows a deep gold, like sunbeams in the autumn mist. The strong, caramel character forms the basis for a rebellious interplay of hops and yeast, with tropical aromas of pineapple, mandarin, lemon and mirabelle chasing classic notes of banana and clove through the glass. The mouthfeel is creamy soft and shows a surprisingly light body that cleverly hides the strong bock.
