Weissbier matured in a 12-year-old Slyrs Whisky Barrels 

Modern Wheat Beer Specialty meets finest Whisky 

Our Bavaria Ale had a special home for several months. During this time, the modern interpretation of wheat beer rested in barrels that had previously been filled with the finest whisky from the Bavarian distillery Slyrs for twelve years, giving it a wonderful aroma.

Maisel & Friends Bavaria Ale Barrel Aged 2024 

Our barrel-aged Bavaria Ale presents itself in bright amber. The nose is enveloped by wonderfully fruity notes reminiscent of melon, peach, gooseberry and white grapes. This wonderful bouquet is accompanied by floral notes, a little honey and a hint of marzipan. In the mouth, the aromas combine in wonderful harmony, starting with sweet caramel, followed by apricots, peach, melon and ripe pear. The finish is creamy and soft, with a floral note and a honey-sweet finish.
