An exciting new creation: Maisel & Friends Chocolate Bock aged in Whiskey Barrels
For several months, our Chocolate Bock had a special home: it was allowed to age in barrels that had previously been used for several years to store the finest whiskey from the Bavarian distillery Slyrs.

Maisel & Friends Chocolate Bock Barrel Aged
Served in a glass, this dark, chestnut-colored beer specialty is topped with a wonderfully fine-pored head. The scent is somewhat reminiscent of Nutella, only not quite as sweet. An aroma of nuts, vanilla, chocolate, and caramel delights the nose. Creamy and smooth, the first sip dances across the taste buds, enchanting with dark malt notes and wonderful barrel aromas. Chocolate and nutty notes fire on all cylinders. The finish leaves a pleasantly warming sensation, with sweet caramel and vanilla notes providing the perfect conclusion to this barrel-aged specialty.
Anyone who thought that nothing could top Chocolate Bock should definitely try this barrel‑aged version.
